History

Martin Sommer, the founder of Zug Haus found his love for trains 29 years ago when he was only 5 years old. His Grandfather, Matthias Sommer was the Station Manager of Isny, Germany from 1953-1978 and bought Model trains for him to play with. Obviously his passion has not faded until today !

Before Zug Haus was incorporated, Mr. Martin Sommer the owner started selling and organizing mini-meetings using his own house as the meeting venue since 2008. When more and more people got interested in Model trains Mr. Sommer decided to setup a shop and employ a Full-Time Employee to take care of his hobby.

Zug Haus started operations on the 8 August 2010 in Fortune IT Mall and has attracted people from all sorts of life, young and old, thai and foreign to the shop. Year to date we have more than 300 registered members and more than 10,000 Likes on our Facebook fan-page.
